David Beth
Biography
David
Beth is a writer and esoteric explorer. He was born to German
parents in Luanda, Angola, May 1974. In the course of his life he has
spent 16 years in Africa living in Nigeria and Kenya.
The unique, rich metaphysical and spiritual climate of especially West
Africa has had a huge influence on David from a very young age. During
these 16 years he was fortunate to encounter personally many powerful
representatives of the local spiritual and metaphysical traditions such
as Susanne Wenger, high priestess of Osun and keeper of the sacred groves
of Oshogbo. In his years in Africa he has received transmissions and empowerments
of various types which he has infused in his magical and spiritual work.
A
deep interest also in the western esoteric tradition led him to the study
of various systems of magic and spiritual attainment and to receive initiation
therein.
His esoteric quest finally led him to the Voudon Gnosis of Michael Bertiaux
- with whom he struck a close personal friendship and esoteric relationship
- both Voudon Gnostic Orders and La Couleuvre Noire (L.C.N.) of which
he became a master and now serves as their Sovereign Grand Master (SGM).
He is also a dedicated non-dualist Gnostic Bishop of the Ecclesia Gnostica
Aeterna (E.G.A) and Grand Commander of the Fraternitas Borealis (F.B.)
two organizations working in their unique ways with the Kosmic Gnosis.
Being
a somewhat nomadic personality, David Beth has lived in many places and
countries from Hamburg, Germany to Los Angeles, USA and London, UK. He
has travelled the world for pleasure, learning, inspiration and a general
lust for exploration.
A University graduate he uses his academic learning and spiritual practice
to continually research and develop spiritual systems of attainment, write
articles and books. David frequently gives talks, lectures and holds seminars
and workshops world wide.
